Nightmare in broad daylight
8/23/2013, 6 a.m.
When I heard the three shots from my back yard, I was working in my front yard.
Then a few minutes later, several DeKalb Police cars sped by my house and stopped all the cars from going near Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy. I didn’t know really what had happened at first. So when I left the house to pick up my granddaughter from her school, I was detoured to Fayetteville Road heading to Walmart. And it was a nightmare in broad daylight there.
Thank the creator God that this did not turn hellish.
Our children need a better future than terrorism to think about.
