‘A Christmas Carol’ at Stonecrest

Ebenezer Scrooge discovers the true meaning of Christmas.

Disney’s “A Christmas Carol,” which retells Charles Dickens’ classic novel about a Victorian-era miser and his discovery of the real meaning of the holidays, will be screened on Dec. 14 at the Stonecrest Library in Lithonia.

The 2009 film, which is rated PG, stars Jim Carrey, Gary Oldman, Bob Hoskins, Robin Wright and Colin Firth. It will be screened at 2 p.m. and is open to the first 165 participants.
