The talk, part of the Georgia Center for the Book’s Festival of Writers Series, begins at 7:15 p.m.

“A Wanted Woman” is a steamy thriller set in tropical Barbados. It tells the story of agent MX-401, a woman of a thousand faces, an assassin who could be anyone, anywhere.

The Trinidad assignment she took was supposed to be simple – make a living man become a dead man, but when the job goes bad, there is nowhere for the agent, known as Reaper, to hide from the Laventille Killers, the fearsome local warlord. With the scant protection of a dank safe house, no passport, and no access to funds, an island paradise becomes her prison.

Dickey is the author of 21 novels, including the best sellers “Genevieve,” “Drive Me Crazy,” “Naughty or Nice,” and “The Other Woman.” “Naughty or Nice” has been optioned by Lionsgate Films.

He is also author of a six-issue miniseries of comic books for Marvel Enterprises featuring Storm (“X-Men”) and the Black Panther.
