Clinic offers assistance with citizenship application

Immigrants can get assistance with citizenship application at a clinic on March 24 at the Clarkston Library.

It takes place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is presented by Asian Americans for Advancing Justice.

An attorney and a Bureau of Immigration Appeals-accredited representative certified to provide legal advice in the citizenship process will screen and assist participants 18 and older with completing their application for U.S. citizenship.

The participant must have held a green card for the appropriate amount of time.
