Official to discuss water quality issues

Marilyn Johnson of the city of Atlanta will be the guest speaker at a Nov. 13 meeting of the South River Watershed Alliance at Flat Shoals Library. She will speak about options being considered by the city to resolve its water quality problems that impact the South River, which runs through South DeKalb.

The meeting will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The library is located at 4022 Flat Shoals Parkway, Decatur. 404-244-4370.
