Shawn Carter scholarships

High school seniors, college students and young adults pursuing studies at a vocational or trade school have until May 15 to apply for $1,500 to $2,500 scholarships from the Shawn Carter Foundation.

Applicants ages 18 to 25 can be students attending alternative schools, single mothers as well as students who have been previously incarcerated. They must have a GED and/or a GPA of 2.5 and be a U.S. citizen.

The Shawn Carter Foundation offers scholarship opportunities to under-served students across the United States who desire a higher education.
