Becoming the 2011 valedictorian at Tucker High School was “inspiring” to Claire Brisse.
“The salutatorian [Briana Belser] is the smartest girl I know and it’s inspiring to be up there with her,” she said.
Claire, 18, became her school’s top student with a 4.376 GPA. This fall, she will attend Emory University where she plans to major in biology.
Claire said this graduating class is special because it’s the last class that remembers Tucker’s old school building, before the school’s makeover in 2008.
“Going through the reconstruction period left a mark on us, but we also left a mark on the school as well,” she said.
