Job hunters who want a leg up on their quest will want to attend Work Connections' "Job Search on the Internet" seminars.

Work Connections, a nonprofit career resource center based at Goodwill Industries on Glenwood Avenue, is offering the one-hour class several times during June at times that are bound to fit any schedule.

The center provides job seekers with a job bank, access to the Internet, fax machines, telephones to call employers, and help with interviewing and other skills. Its services are free.

Angela Staup, manager of Work Connections, said there are more than 75 job sites on the Internet and knowing how to navigate them can offer job seekers lots of options.

Staup said the seminar covers the basics: how to connect to the Web, and how to do a search.

Job Search on the Internet seminars will be held at 10 a.m. on June 2, 10, 16 and 23, and at 2:30 p.m. on June 3, 14, 17, 21 and 24.

For more information, call 404-486-8400 or show up for the class at 2201 Glenwood Ave. SE. The center is on MARTA bus routes 28 and 107.
