S. DeKalb Rotary installs new officers

DeKalb Tax Commissioner Claudia Lawson was inducted as the new president of the South DeKalb Rotary Club on June 26.

She received her presidential pin from District 6900 Assistant Governor Durl Jensen. Georgia Power’s Patricia Seals and Willie Hinton were also inducted on the board for the 2012-2013 year. Lawson has set membership growth as the lynchpin of her presidency. The service club meets at noon Wednesdays at This Is It BBQ restaurant in Lithonia.
